About the Course
Holly Tree Country Club features a picturesque 18-hole golf course that is laid out over the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course was designed by George Cobb and is accommodating to golfers of all different skill levels. The course plays 6790 yards from the blue tees, 6340 yards from the white tees, 5901 yards from the grey tees, 5501 yards from the gold tees, 5156 yards from the red tees, and 4502 from the black tees. Four beautiful lakes and Gilder Creek bring water into play on nine of the holes. Our signature double St. Andrews-style green serves for the finishing grounds on holes 9 and 18. In addition to a driving range, putting green, and chipping green; Holly Tree Country Club also offers a private skills area and short course for players of all ages and skill levels wishing to work on their game.
In October of 2025, H.T.C.C will start a golf course renovation project that entails new green complexes, bunkers, tee boxes and remedial work to fairways #5, #6 and #13. The greens will convert to Tif-Eagle Bermuda to ensure the best putting surfaces for play. Duininck Golf will perform the work under the supervision of renowned golf course architect Jeff Lawrence.
